Why are we here?!

Such a cruel deceitful earth
why exactly are we here?
such a better place ahead of us
so why are we here
innocent lives here, then taken
away to this greater place.
sisters, brothers, sons and daughters
taken to a life we could never understand or begin to imagine
the color never seen before
the sounds never heard before
and the greatest feeling ever felt
waiting for us like we're gold
theres nothing wrong with death, nor life
but why are we here, here on earth?
a sinful, sometimes peaceful place
asking for forgiveness when we do something wrong
I believe in a higher power
but why are we here?
often things are taken for granted
but all we can do is live
to wait for the greater good
the place where some people have seen
come so close to heaven,
seen the greatest light
saw the most awesome colors
smelt the best smells
felt the greatest feeling ever
then snapped back into this world
there is nothing wrong with our world or our lives
there is nothing wrong with life or death
but why EXACTLY are we here?!
