Remember When....

Remember when....

We'd spend all day outside,
Playing around for hours?
We'd walk to Kroger and buy some junk,
And trade some chips for some sours?

We'd bounce on your trampoline,
And laugh when one of us fell off?
We'd sit on one another,
Until they'd gasp and cough?

We'd spin in circles forever,
Running into each other all the time?
We'd play tag and fight over who'd be It,
And in the end we'd flip a dime?

We'd pout when it was time for dinner,
And eat as fast as we could?
We'd race back outside when we were done,
And play hide-and-seek in the woods?

We'd steal each other's bikes,
So we could play cops and robbers?
We'd create a treasure hunt,
And the winner would get a starburst?

We'd go to your house and pound on the door,
Until you told us to stop?
We'd come in turn the music up real loud,
And dance until we dropped?

We had such good times before,
Before we went and grew up.
Why'd we have do that?
Why'd the fun have to stop?
