Feeding

by Solnya   Aug 28, 2006

I see the stars forming
Then I see them dying
I see them being eaten
By an opposing force

Much like here on earth
We wish to fill our girth
Lions, cheaters, flycatcher
And most important MAN

I understand the need
For of all things to feed
From tiny little organisms
To great expansive stars

Yet I sit here wondering,
When I am decomposing
What will feed on me?
My soul is so confused

I like this alot. It is very different and just really cool. The first stanza was my favorite. It just seemed to fit very well with the rest of the poem. Great job on this! Keep it up!
