Don't Get Too Close.

Don't get too close,
Because they could turn around and rip out your heart.
Don't ever let them get close,
Because they could tear you apart.

It just takes one thing,
To turn your feelings around.
And it doesn't take much,
For someone to throw you heart on the ground.

A person can love you one minute,
Then be screaming at you the next.
They can be telling you what you mean to them,
Then they could be swearing and telling you you're a pest.

Don't get too close to somebody,
Cause they can start killing you inside,
Don't get too close to somebody,
Cause when they hurt you, it makes you wanna die.

    Wow I loved this poem, and I can totally relate. I hate when you think you know someone and then they turn around and stab you in the back. what's even worse is my family does this to me. I'm always here if you wanna talk or whatever. But I really loved this poem I gave it a 5. Keep up the great work and I hope to read more by you soon.
