Uncomfortable Chill

by Ms Stacy   Aug 28, 2006

The room was hot
yet there was an uncomfortable chill that filled it
she sat at the edge of a ratty hotel bed
he had stormed out once again.
she cried silently briefly looking up at the mirror on the wall seeing her once pretty face stained but hurting tears
when he would come back they would silently count what little money they had seeing weather they had a place to sleep or food in their bellies
Her stomach growled louder and louder over the last days, she felt weak but she kept going strong.
They had got in a fight, a small one but the stress of finding a home and food when their money was running so low made the tension hard to slice threw.

It felt like the longest and hottest night when he finally came back that night, his eyes were puffy and she saw teardrops on his sleeve.
with out one word all their anger was swept away, and they embraced each other.
Chest pressed together, hearts beating as one.....
"Threw thick and thin, or for richer or for poorer, for not ever death shall do us part. I love you with all my heart, Always and Forever."

I love you baby,
We made it threw hell and took every step together.
*Your stuck with me (lol)*
