Sometimes

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Aug 28, 2006

Sometimes I feel like a stranger
Putting my life in danger
Just for a hug from you
Thinking my love is true

Sometimes I feel like his girlfriend
But that is when I play pretend
When we play that stupid game
But it's just not the same

Sometimes I feel stupid
But it's not my fault, it's cupid
He's made me love you this way
There's nothing you could say

Sometimes I feel sad
And that makes you feel bad
Well, that's life, you're a part of mine
I've been thinking, right now's not our time

Great poem. Excellent rhyming and wonderful flow. For your age your writing is amazing, 11 and writing way beyond your years. I can tell you are going to go far.

&& One thing...in your profile you say you will "return the favor" if someone comments on your poetry, but I've commented on many of your poems and you've never "returned the favor". What's up with that?? I may just stop commenting you since you don't stick to your word. Or you should at least take it out of your profile so people don't fall into the trap of your lying-which is exactly what you're doing by saying you'll "return the favor" and then don't!
