I told myself I wouldn't cry
As I sat down with a lonely sigh.
A life so perfect yesterday,
You walked down the aisle, I walked away.

How did my life turn upside down?
I saw my world start swirling around.
I heard your words as I walked out the door,
I just fell apart, my heart hit the floor.

A dream or not, I couldn't tell.
As I ran away, I started to yell,
"Good luck in life, whatever you do!"
Words not meant for her, only for you.

Time to get up, it was only a dream.
I still can't believe how real it seemed.
Roll out of bed, mumble a swear,
