Reaper of Dreams

by Seronum   Aug 29, 2006

Theirs blood in these eyes,
with discretion demise,
lost in all lies,
a nightmare
in disguise.

I'm waiting till the end
to reap the shadows
that creep.

Seeking out the
darkness that
silently sleeps.

With the blink of an eye,
I slowly die,
waiting for a second
chance so I can finally
know why.

The truth hides
behind all and never
gives up.

Lessons to be
learned slide by
never sowing shut.

These scars on
these wrists they end
in dark twists,
bleeding to the
last drop sending
me to my knees.

Violently weak,
I crawl on the floor
searching for a way
out but cant find the door.

Its pitch black and
the walls seem
to close in.

Violently screeching
as I lay dying within.

I need someone
here to save me
from this hell.

I can already
hear the tone of
the funeral bells.

They haunt me
in my sleep watching
as I dream
of violent deaths.

Sucking each
drop of life
til my very last breath.

Finally I painfully
drown in sorrow
seeking out the
days that lead me
with tomorrow.
