A Death To Regret

by Ngairini Pollett   Aug 29, 2006

Her body hangs loosely
necks laced with rope
the fears of a child
a girl with no hope

Her faith has vanished
no care left in her heart
she can no longer tell
her emotions apart

No traces of life
shadows surround
her eyes, filled with darkness
no light to be found

The end draws near
her vision grows faint
her demon appears
as she prays for a saint

A life with the Devil
A Death To Regret
God's scream for mercy
she'll never forget.
