A Day Alone†

by Roland Amaranto   Aug 29, 2006

Here, sitting on the couch,
sinking slowly to sadness
as the slow Latin guitar rhythm,
soothingly glide as it caress
my lone restless soul...
the serene silence on the cold day,
rain drops heard from the roof,
and my mind is here to stay,
reminiscing the memories of yesterday,
as I fall away to the light,
as time consumes my life...
soon shall come the night,
the presence of worries begone,
and a new hope shall be shown,
for you will be here soon,
and i will never be anymore, alone
