Shattered dream

Feet off the ground,
floating around the sky,
Wind in my hair,
Sparkles in my eyes,

Leaving everything behind,
Going to my fantasy place,
Feeling happy,
As my heart begins to race,

Coming to a pretty view,
Another world i see,
touching down to this place,
Now i can be free,

Unicorns run by,
happly in the sun,
Fairies & dragons i see,
This new life has just begun,

But i know i cant stay for long,
Cause nothing is what it seems,
Reality is waking me up,
Leaving me with a shattered dream.
