Tomorrow Is Today

by VoiceOfTheSoul   Aug 29, 2006

An obliterated habitat,
A toothpick factory is attached,
A rain forest torn down,
A power plant is found.

Nice, fresh air,
Destroyed by people, they don't care,
Clean water spots,
Polluted by waste, chemicals and rot.

Clear sky's at night,
Covered by towers and business fights,
A ground cleared of crap,
You wish, that's a wrap.

A world of no danger,
A waste their time, they're a stranger,
A world of hopes and dreams,
Lost by health problems and poverty.

People try there best to help out,
But they're frauds, they live in doubt,
A bulldozer destroys a 10 trees a day,
That doesn't help at all I'd say

Tomorrow is today,
We have to do something in anyway,
If we don't it will never be the same,
We'll always be living in shame,

Remember me as one in a billion,
We all can do something as a civilian,
Be courteous, be kind,
And help this world with me in mind.
