The way a person feels in the dark

Or they're bodies bare and stark

No one can see the emptiness in they're eyes
Or the hatred simmering below the surface
The pain bursting through the lies
A broken home misplaced

No one can feel the coldness against they're skin
The sour feeling of loss in they're heart
The stain of problems, of endearing sin
The tribute to deceit permanent in they're heart

No one can feel the loss of hope
In they're eyes of innocence prevailed
Time to die, time to cope
No one can see the boat of help has long since sailed

No one can see the child true and real
The innocence rippling off the person inside
In the pyramids of time elapsed, forced to kneel
A child murdered, misunderstood, child who cried

No one can understand a child so alone
