Wishing For Summer

by blissfulbearje   Aug 30, 2006

The heat in the wind tells us,
Summer is on its way.
As the days slowly grow longer,
The sun shines brighter.
I hold this shell to my ear,
I can hear the sea, crashing waves.
I want to run along the beach,
Feel the sand between my toes.
I want to collect the pretty shells,
Make heaps of beautiful necklaces.
I want to see the clear, blue ocean,
Ride those big, crystal waves.
I want to play in the shallows,
Laugh with all my friends.
I want to spend time with my love one,
Share ice-creams, swim at sunset.
All I really want is for the summer to come,
So I can do all these things, laugh, live and love.
