Nothing Left

by Looking For Lyf In The Desert   Aug 30, 2006

You hold your breath,
Your face flushes to red,
You feel your blood pump faster,
You get goose bumps,
And all your little hairs rise,
As if a small breath of cold air,
Just ran past the back of your neck.
Your heart turns to ice,
Then SHATTERS!
And slowly you begin to cry.
With a puzzled look on you face,
Your mine won't stop rerunning his words,
Trying to understand what just happen.
As the thought slowly starts to sink in,
You turn, walk out the door,
And begin walking home in the pouring rain,
Where now you and your tears remain unnoticed.
The only sound you hear is the rain drops hitting the ground.
Every step you take heavier.
Till, finally, u stop walking, and fall to your knees.
And now you go from crying to sobbing.
With a broken heart and confused mind,
You have nothing left to guide you home.
