Lyrics- girl (her last screams)

by beth   Aug 30, 2006

She keeps her secrets hidden,
Bound by crimson scars,
She built herself a prison,
And locked her soul within the bars.

She walks each night
Down a lonesome, stony road,
Walking on her own,
She sings the songs that used to make her cry.

Bye, bye, lonely world,
Bye, bye, stony cold,
You wont see my tears crash around me anymore.
Farewell to desperation,
Hello sweet salvation.
No one to catch me when I fall,
I cant take anymore.

Almost a ghost, her white dress
Stained by Filthy deeds.
In the shadows she walks to her death,
To finally rest in peace.

She walks each flight
Of an abandoned factory,
Ignoring the danger signs.
And thinks to her self "This is the last time,
Ill say"

Bye, bye, lonely world. . .

She tiptoed to the edge,
In her head
She was rising to heaven.
Lines of black, lines of red
Will flow together, again.

No one heard
Her last words
That she screamed over the rooftops.
Behind closed doors,
The pain theyd caused
Was just a dream they forgot,
She screamed. . .

Bye, bye lonely word. . .

This is one of the best poems I've read. Don't let anyone tell you, you are too young to understand because all that matters is that you feel.
