Your Consolations

When My Disquieting Thoughts
Became Many Inside Of Me
Your Own Consolations Began To Fondle My Very Soul.
When Felt As If Though There Was A Missing Part Of Me
Your Encouraging Word Always Seemed To Piece Me Back Whole.
In Your Eyes I Was Precious
Like Jewels Or Some Fine Gold
You Made Me Feel So Warm
In This World Of Things So Cold.
You Were My High Rock Mass
When Raging Waves Crashed Below On Jagged Edged Boulders.
When My Eyes Became Full Of Tears,
You Were My Crying Shoulder.
Your Own Consolations Have Been My Strengthening System.
I Would Have Ignored Your Warning,
But I'm Grateful I Listened.
You Have Been My Flashlight On This Dark Earthly Mission.
