Broken

by Adriana77   Aug 30, 2006

I'm reaching out to you
but you refuse to meet me half way
How much of myself do I have to put on the line, just to hear you say...

...I forgive you, we all make mistakes, let the past just stay in the past
From this point on let's build a stronger friendship and forever it will last

I'm talking out to you
but you refuse to hear
I cast my voice and words in volumes, but what I say falls on deaf ears

I'm standing right in front of you
but you refuse to see
That because of what life has forced me to endure I'm no longer who I used to be

I still care for you
as I do for all of my friends
So please stop being so reserved
so we can start to make a mend

Will appreciate votes and comments/will do the same
