You are Mine

by Lindsay   Aug 30, 2006

You convinced me that we were fine
I didn't think that at the time

You told me about the time
You said I was yours, and you were mine

You took the phrase "you are mine" so seriously
That when I talked to another boy you yelled aggressively

I will never forget the time you hit me
Blackness and stars was all I could see

I was terrified when you would hit
But most of all when you told me not to forget it

Dont forget your oath to me
Tied to my side, thats where you'll be

He said he go to hell and back
To make sure freedom is what I lack

But thanks to a friend, I call a gun
I am dead, and have wrecked his fun
