Unbearable Pain

Sadness has swept over this land
silence is broken by the sound of our tears
dripping from our cheeks
down onto our hands

This pain is unbearable
I'm torn apart
like being stabbed by a sword
right into the heart

My emotions are flooding
dripping down like the rain
why must I feel
such unbearable pain
