Sleep To Never Wake

by Ngairini Pollett   Aug 31, 2006

This life is too much to handle
it’s tearing my world apart
reality's got the best of me
one desires left in my heart

Creeping before my gravestone
beneath the deepest lake
this desire within my heart
is to sleep and never wake

My shadow no longer stands by me
I'm six feet beneath the ground
your voice, so taunting, surrounds me
my mind, still yet to be found.
