Lazy Bum, Pick UP the Phone and Call Me

by Laury   Aug 31, 2006

All that is necessary
for my silence,
for a halt to my constant stream of complaints is a very simple, very brief phone call.
A "Hi."
A "How's everything?"
A "I love you, baby."
A "I miss you."
Then a repetition of those 3 beautiful words,
And a "Bye."
That's it. You're off the hook.
Is it wrong for me to assume
that the task isn't that difficult?
No, I have to wait lifetimes to hear from you.
Then you have the nerve to claim that I "talk mad crap."
Exactly what are your expectations?
How do you want me to react?
You've never made that point clear,
since you loathe having an actual conversation with me.
Baby, I love you.
And trust me, I don't want to annoy you all the time.
So, can you please satisfy my simple silly little needs?
Please!
I mean, it's only rational.
There's no nice way to say this.
You lazy bum, pick up the phone and call me!!!
