The simple things in life

by Ashley   Aug 31, 2006

Wandering through the shadows of time
Sitting watching it go by
Wondering is there a time when it stops

You cry out to the world
"Stop before it`s too late!"
You try to stop them, yet it`s too late
"Stop it! We are like this becuase we caused it"

Crying from the shadows of time
It`s past your time, it`s time to leave
Crying wishing there was another way
It`s to late, your chance has expired

The reaper appears to take you away
Begging him to let you stay
The reaper says "No its past your expiration date"
Begging brings you no where, so you leave

He takes you to a dark place with a reddish tint and points
You take the path he points to
He then disappears
You see a light it was like a movie playing

Then you see what is playing and you can`t stop watching
Your eyes are glued to the screen
Then it pauses at the scene right before you die
Your killer`s eyes are staring back at you

Their eyes are dark and cold
There was no emotion in them anymore
Their eyes were your brother`s eyes
There in the bathroom mirror a knife to your throat

Tears ran down your face as he held the knife tight
Begging him to let go, he would not listen
Tears fell on his hand as he passed harder
Begging one last time, the knife slid

It was the end for you
"Sorry sis but, it`s me or you and I choose you"
It was one of the last things he said to you
"You`re mad, you`re on drugs"

"Good bye sis"
The knife cut deep in to your throat
"You`re my brother, Why did you kill me?"
The dying words of a mad man`s sister

"Too bad you got in the way I really did like you"
You laid the floor covered in your own blood
"You were a great sis, but it`s my way of life"
You listened to the last words he said to you

Then you were gone
The film of your death haunted you
Then once you forgave it, then it would not
The film made you hate him even more
