Spend Some Time

by The Nameless Poet   Aug 31, 2006

I didn't know where to put this, please comment.

Each day I wake up in a hot room all alone/ Take a shower, get ready, eat some food then I’m gone/ I just roam the city streets looking for something to do/ Usually I would be on the phone or spending time with you/ But lately you have been working trying to make yourself some ends/ Work is stressing you out so now you gone partying with friends/ At times that I’m lucky enough I will have some extra cash/ Stop by your work say hi and get the usual ice cap/ Start a little conversation and ask you how was your day/ Resurrect the smile back to your face take all the stress away/ Hoping that soon you will get off on your break/ So I will have another reason in which to stay/ Make another conversation and spend some time together/ Times up, you got to get back to work we hug, wish we could stay hugging forever/ But things just never seem to work out the way we want them to/ All well I’m grateful for the days I get to spend some time with you/
