Let Me Breathe !

I sit and watch and listen to all of
them around me . They think I
don't know, or understand what
they assume and what they think .

But I know that they all believe me
mad . Because I want to be left
alone .

But I'm not mad I just need a little
time to myself, so that I can
contemplate on my own .

They expect too much from me .
I'm just one person, I need space
you see .

Because it feels as if their crowding
me in and there is no air left to
breathe .

I try to be friendly, loving, giving,
and sweet .But all they do is use
me to get what they want . And
then leave nothing behind for me .

Either its money, advice, or any
thing thats not their's . They'll
get mad and cry, or plead .

I finally give in and left them have
what they want . I just wish that
they would LET ME BREATHE .
