Secret Ambition

Out of all the things I've ever wanted to do

Making you mine is the hardest

I started out kinda weak

Now my feelings have reached their highest peak

Years and seasons have past since our first encounter

Ever since then my thoughts never stray from you more than an hour

Although we had a rough patch and your feelings for me were sour

We've worked through that now your feelings for me are blooming like a new spring flower

To make you happy has always been my secret ambition

I hope our feelings for each other remains an eternal tradition

As our love grows to fruition

To the day we die love and happiness will be our lifelong expedition

    Again, the rhyming was broken, which often kills a poem...And to me, you don't seem to speak from emotion..You just..write.
