Angels in Hell

She talks to angels
As the Devil whispers
Silently she listens
And turns away

The angels hear
Their final good-bye
As she walks to the dark
There's no looking back

Lost she may be
But full of hope
Angels watch
Hold her as she walks

Through the gates of Hell
She enters her home
Full of fear
But her angels stay

As their wings
Are burnt from their backs
They hold on tight
Feathers singed
Eyes full of tears

Still they stay
Whispering their words
She tries to listen
This isn't what she thought
But there's no turning back

She listens
As her angels tell her
She's made her choice
The dark is now
Her home to stay

But they'll be there
With her to stay
Angels tears
Comfort her
