Falling off
Dropping down
Before the book
Glimpse the ground

Cry for help
Muffled scream
Blood escaping
Crimson stream

Patch it up
Tie a knot
Tears are leaking
Make them stop

Footsteps slowing
Notice growing
Problems piling
Keep on smiling

Failing friendships
Cold rejection
Missed the mark
Missed perfection

Fever broken
Cold as Ice
Feel relief
Pay the price

Look around
Failing eyes
Blending background
Blurry lies

Drowning silently
Lying still
Reached the end
Final chill
