Happiness, where are you?

by ECILA ice   Sep 1, 2006

Happiness where are you?
Tell me where you residing
Give me a single trace of you
Coz I'm really tired of searching

Are you in the hand of a beggar, on the street?
Asking for penny just to have something to eat
Shivering at the coldness of the night
In order to survive, they have to fight

Can I find it inside the candy store?
Can I buy you cheaply?
The sweetness you can't help not to crave for more
Happiness, do you taste exactly like a candy?

Or inside an empty home
Families are like ghosts
House made out of doom
Love and sympathy are all lost

Or in the face of the soon-to- be bride
Where God took her guy away
Were her heart and dreams all died
And now she felt like there's no place to stay

Or in a smile of a child inside a foster home
Broken and empty
Hoping to see their real family
Dreaming to find a missed real home

Happiness where do you really stay?
I'm tired, give me your address
Where do you really reside?
Happiness where are you?

Life is so hard for so many its true
But being alive is a miracle, rich or
poor we will all be kings in heaven.
Live your life giving and love will
    come to you.

A very sad but thought provoking
read indeed. God bless you and
    thank you for sharing,
