Cancerous Confessions

by keep n touch   Sep 1, 2006

The smoke settles at the tip of your tongue
those lips, a flamboyant fire
Teasing as each word smolders thru
Burning with passion; fueled by desire

Each breath carries a new hazy fog
Scorching my eyes with pure bliss
Oh, how my heart instantly melts
Imagining a fiery kiss

When I'm with you, my heart skips a beat
My lungs seem to collapse; it's hard to breathe
No matter how i change, you wouldn't care
Our love is true; I'd never leave

My whole world clings to you
For without your touch, I'd be lost
I'd do anything, give everything
Even my life, as the ultimate cost

Whatever you do, you make me feel good
Injecting your spell into my blood
To think, this addicting little stick
for now, is my only real love

Puff after puff, day after day
my only care: to make you stay

I don't even know why, but until the last part I actually thought this was a
love poem, and I was wondering why it was in this section. It is really clever and it is easy to picture your situation. I've never (and never plan to) smoke, but I liked it just the same.

    Can't wait to read more.
