Struggling With Pure Infatuation

At every sight of him I stumbled down
He made my days and flipped my frowns
He was so beautiful, so beautiful
And he stole a part no one can fill

He brought life to my fantasies
Sparked interests deep inside of me
His heartbeat was music to my ears
And I've known him for so many years

I had everyone I wanted, why not him
His eyes so green filled me within
Purified me so, yet made me weak
I searched for words but couldn't speak

Yet every night I would sit and think
Would this boy make me fly or sink
I could keep his heart; hold it forever
Alas,then my poor heart thus severed

This beautiful boy, beautiful disaster
I wanted him but he came faster
He broke my heart and watched me cry
Like every single other guy

I'm bruised and hurt, broken and sore
And so foolishly, I'm back for more
Still burning with a deep sensation,
Struggling with pure infatuation

    this poem is absolutely terrific...but I would have loved it even more if it had had a happy ending =( I guess not all love stories have happy endings =)

    you have so much talent that wouldn't be compared to anyone on this site...I adore your poems, they always make me feel relieved and inspired...yet very Impressed :$

    The onyl part that ruined the flow of this for me was

    I could catch his heart like each before
    But no my thinking was so wrong

    apart from that it flowed really well and i really enjoyed reading it. Don't worry, there are guys out there that won't make you cry, you'll find em.
