Will You Remember Me???

If I'd die,
Would you come by
And visit my grave?

Would you come on my birthday?
Would you come on our anniversary?
Would you come on my death-day?

Would you leave flowers?
Would you talk to me?
Would you let me see...
The life I left behind in a photo?

Or would you abandon me?
Would you forget me?
Would you leave me alone?
Would you only look at me as a pile of bones?

I love you,
And you tell me that you feel the same,
Our bond so true...
But when I die,
after time,
will you remember my name?

Poem was inspired by my friend who visited her grandfather... remembering people after death is the best gift you can give them, so remember those who have passed on, and hopefully everyone out there will be remembered.xoxoxoxox
