It's not so easy being me
A caged soul longing to be free
A blackened heart wishing to fly
Up and away into the dreary sky

It's not easy being who I am
Even if most people believe it's a sham
Bit by bit I fall apart
And everyone tramples over my heart

It's not easy living like this
