I sit, I look, I wonder
of paths my life has drawn
The twists the turns and endless days,
And dreams that remain obscure.
As a child I lived through dark times,
War with guns ablazing, human lives they were the cost,
where\\\'s the glory I implore,
but ne\\\'er an answer I got.
Those times they past and peace returned,
And I prayed it would remain,
For happiness was all I sought,
And that was what remained.
The years went by and tall I grew,
Two children I begot,
Through good and bad we all stood tall,
And face what life commands.
Although my journey\\\'s but half way through,
Of this I can be sure
Those unexpected twists and turns,
will be forever more.
