My mother...

My mother is crushed.
she's been verbally attacked.
she is crying and crying.
why is he always so mad?

It hurts me to know,
that she feels so much pain.
especially when,
her family's to blame.

He says that she brings,
it all upon herself.
I say she just needs,
to find a way out.

She needs her own sanity too,
don't you know?
no one's helping her find it.
they're just hurting her more.

He yells and he screams,
and he's filled with such rage.
all that I hear,
is the cold drizzled rain.
