Nanna

by katie   Sep 3, 2006

When we found out you had cancer,
It hit me you could die,
But it seems I just accepted it,
I didnâ??t even cry!

That doesnâ??t mean I donâ??t love you,
Or miss you more each day,
As Iâ??m just different to the others,
And deal with it all my way!

I watched you fade over the years,
As a person you helped me grow,
To everyone else you was my nanna,
To me you were so much more!

I miss your little stories,
And the way you had your hair,
When good took you away,
He wasnâ??t been fair!

I understand why god took you,
So you got rid of all the pain,
And you are the sun in the sky,
That always follows the rain!

But I know your watching over me,
Since the second he took you away,
Please carry on doing this,
Because weâ??ll meet again one day!
