Destiny

I know my own destiny,
I know what im to become,
I know what ive been in a past life,
I know the deeds ive done.

But what if destiny is just an option,
And from its path you may stray,
What if a man dosent want his life planned,
Surely theres a way.

But i want my destiny to arrive,
And im planning for the day it shall,
You see on knowledge is what i thrive,
But now in my life theres a gal.

I would have give up my life in a instant,
Just to be with her again,
My love for her was strong,
And then came the pain.

But our relationship was complicated,
I kept my secret life from her,
A life which means so much to me,
One ive had almost a year.

My destiny is to become somthing,
I thought i was sure what,
But these recent happenings have made me wonder if im not.

Maybe destiny is not to be tampered with,
Maybe its a sacred presence,
Maybe i should let my life run its course,
But forever be aware.
