Is Love Blind?

by David Marshall   Sep 4, 2006

I tied a thin rope from my heart to her,
And even knowing what I know now, that rope wont break.
Every time I see her, I see what I use to see.
The way shes changed,
It's hard to believe.
The first time we met, we would talk for hours,
and she drew me closer to her.
Now shes so different,
not the girl I fell in love with,
and now I'm stuck,
tied on this rope.
My heart is a filter,
completely disregarding all the bad things she has done.
All I want to see, Is how she use to be, A pleasant memory.
Is love blind?
It all depends on the one you love.
