my mumbled prayer.
Only you can help this, Lord.
There's a reason it's unfair.

He seems to love her,
and he always has.
She likes him a lot,
and she thought it was ending at long last.

He pretended to be interested
in your love for her,
but he had ulterior motives,
and still, she let not her course be deterred.

My prayer, Jehovah, continues
that she doesn't keep falling for him,
and you help her sort this thing
to its deepest point of end.
