She fell hard she fell fast
But she was certain it wouldn't last
And even though her feelings had never been so strong
She was sure the end was near that it wouldn't be long
February 18th the night she lost it all
broke down in tears and lost control
"I cant do this,you'll kill me,of that I'm sure"
Just like so many others had done to her before
She had never loved anyone so strong
In him she found a love she had been seeking for so long
But she was sure he would leave her one day
and when he did he'd tear her heart and trust away
And after that night he never looked at her the same was
Because of her fears she lost him that day
She never again saw that glimmer in his eye
It was after that night his love began to die
And even though she loved him more than anything in her heart
He constantly replayed her words and it tore him apart
And slowly it began to eat his love and began to rip at his core
until he believed he he couldn't be with her anymore
A nd when the time came for him to break her heart
To say he could no longer do it and that he had to part
All she could do was feel that she had completely let him down She wished he knew she wanted and needed him around
A nd through her tears all she could do was say
"I wish you could have felt my love endlessly ,every single day"
"I'm sorry that i let you down, disappointed you "
"i really love you and i wish there were something i could do"
And he laid holding her all through the night
Said there was nothing they could do to make it right
And to this day she still regrets all she had done
For being afraid of love she ended up loosing THE ONE............
