The Feeling

I could feel it getting stronger,
it was getting more intense,
I knew this because when you weren't around,
nothing made any sense.

I thought of it all the time,
every night and every day,
and i could feel it growing inside of me,
and it would not go away.

When we were together once,
you looked deep into my eyes,
and i could feel it in my stomach,
like a swarm of butterflies.

And when you didnt say anything,
I thought that it might not be true,
but you read my heart and broke the silence,
then said I love you.
