Milk Carton

The girl on the posters
Her face so clear
Parents so upset
It can give you a tear

Putting up posters
With rewards everywhere
As they're hanging them up
Everyone stares

Feeling so bad for the parents
Of the child far away
Wondering if their child is alive
Every single day

Having worries and scares
About what could be going on
They're crying so hard
Yet trying to be strong

I know we'll find her
The father of her said
Let's just hope she's alive
And not somewhere dead

She will be fine, I know
She'll be happy when she gets home
She'll be back with us
And not out there alone

With this battle of hope and defeat
Hope will just have to win
Will they ever see her again
Their daughter on the milk carton
