Broken

by hidden writer   Sep 5, 2006

Looking out,
from the windows of my eyes,
nothing to shelter my mind,
from the cold and pain that hurts me,

i just look at the people,
such happiness on their faces,
but no way to no or follow,
the roads that take them places,

I'm stuck here,
in a place of such loneliness,
like a park bench,
in the rain,

no people to be seen,
no sound to be heard,
but the sound of the rain,
turning all your thoughts and memories cold,

sadness soaks through your clothes,
to your skin,
the cold feeling leaves u alone,
no place that feels like home,

the mist and Grey,
looks how your mind and soul feel,
you sit for hours,
wondering if depression is what you feel,

but somehow no matter what you think about,
you want to be alone,
no friends and family,
the kindness in your heart has flown

no longer you care,
no longer you sleep,
all you do is cry,
and weep,

you don't want comfort,
you don't want love,
somehow you've grown used to the pain,

still cold,
still frozen,
mind blanked,
and broken
