Today I lost a true inspiration,
A man whom I have never met,
Though tears and sadness fill my heart.
A character I will never forget.

You were an amazing Aussie bloke,
Full of passion for what you do.
Making others aware of your cause,
Now leaving so many hearts so blue.

From a crocodile to a koala
They had you as their mates
No one on earth could really feel
Now its just to late.

You were taken from us so sudden,
In such a tradgic way
Though you would not have said so
Sadness fills the world today.

You always said you would die,
If it meant you could save another
Your beautiful children I sure will understand
As will you wife their mother.

The crocodile hunter as you were known,
Your legend will live on
But in my heart you will remain
Long when you are gone.

Now a star in the sky you will shine
For this is not your end
Knowing your legacy will continue
A fair dinkum true blue friend.
