Forgotten. {Italian Sonnet}.

-Forgotten {Italian Sonnet}.-

Forgotten, under the stars late last night!
Alone in the park, where the children play;
And somewhere in between, she was led astray.
Tears stream down her porcelain face so white,
Luminated under the moons silver light.
The wind whispering secrets of your betray,
Such emotions of your love do you display,
For the one whose love once made you feel so right.

A heart so broken - - still beating on with time - -
From your deceitful acts, played out behind her,
With red lipstick, and a picture so sublime;
She rusts the memories of who you once were.
As your mistress gains your hearts devotion,
She dies like a movie star from your crime.

Italian Sonnets have 10-11 syllables per line and is composed of an octave (rhyming abbaabba), and a sestet (rhyming cdecde or cdcdcd) or in some variant form, with no closing couplet.
