Crying is not a weakness
Not a sign that you aren't tough
Everyone has limits
When their body says, "enough"

When people push you too far
And instead of taking the leap
You simply let it pour
Who says that you can't weep?

Are you really all that strong
To tell the tsunami it can't strike
To deny this awesome power
And tell it to take a hike

I'd rather spend an hour in tears
Than a lifetime with this pain
It's harder to hold it back
Than let it fall like rain

When tears ask for escape
From behind your gloomy eyes
