When I Danced In The Mud

by Sarah Ann   Sep 6, 2006

When I danced in the mud
I made sure the holes were deep
Into my soul the dirt would seep
When I danced in the mud

When I had cleansed my body
I couldn't help my sorrows drain
And so, 'immortal' was my shame
When I had cleansed my body

When I last grasped your hand
I knew of my forsaken fate
Yet, I was seconds, bits, too late
When I last grasped your hand

When I danced in the mud
Down under, sixteen feet
Death brought pain, thus we did meet
When I danced in the mud

[[I wrote this for English class...Not so good, but it has a deep meaning. Thanks for taking your time to read.]]
