Forever You'll Be My Mom

An hour away from you in distance,
Its been a month, haven't seen you since.
You say your busy and I say okay,
I'm busy too, what else can I say?
You tell of your new family, job, and home,
You tell your own daughter your better alone.
Do you think its right to say those things?
All this pointless drama it brings.
I can't make you happy, I never could,
If I knew the way, you know I would.
You think its me, my family and friends,
Thats causes your pain, it never ends.
MY little baby sister and soon step mom,
Don't need the debts you use as a bomb.
They are my family, whether you like it or not,
Had a baby and getting married, its not my fault.
Hope you realize before you leave,
All those things, I never had up my sleeve.
It happens, things happen, I know this so,
But yet no matter what, he's always your foe.
No matter how happy you tell me you are,
You'll always hate my dad, even by far.
Even though you've caused him so much pain,
You'll blame it on him, just all the same.
Whats the example your trying to be?
Somebody who can't let go is all I see.
Its been two years, the past is done,
You've left now, chose to have your fun.
Why do you think about your forgotten life?
Is it the guilt that kills you like a knife?
Or is it that your back to my age?
An adult trying to be in a teen-age stage.
Maybe therapy, counseling may help you?
Somebody to talk to, somebody to cope to?
If not, hopefully something to help the way you are,
A little new puppy? A brand new blue car?
Anything, just anything, for I hate what I see,
Yet love you as a mother and provider you be.
You don't want to see me, fine, your choice,
But hopefully soon, you'll hear my shy voice.
Maybe next week, next month, next year?
Just never, ever tell me I don't need you here.
Forever you'll be my mom and friend,
You know, no matter what, that shall never end.
Through all those stupid emails you constantly send,
Our mother-daughter relationship I soon hope will mend.
