At night he watches from afar
a beauty that shan't be his

For he is a creature of the dark

She is a maiden of light

They're worlds are different
seperatecl by sun and moon

He thrust for blood, she thrust for life

Yet their eyes they meet
and turn to love and while she
sleeps he protects and guards

As he sleeps she watches and preserves
