A Final Place

by Lindsay   Sep 7, 2006

She ran in the dark
So far away
Deep into the dark
To find a better day

But she ran till all the darkness ran out
She didnt know where to hide
Deep in the shadows
She crumpled and cried

She hid for eternity
From the one she couldnt keep
The boy that broke her heart
The blood began to seep

Seeping from the vein
That kept her hopes from death
But soon she will sink
And breathe her last breath

Inhaling once, then one more time
She let a tear go, as she raised knife
Forgetting the past, on her last thought
Hoping he would one day know, he took her life

Took her far, as far as she could go
Took her too a place in mind
Secret and dark
A final place no one will find
